Videocon's germ free homes campaign
HYDERABAD: Videocon International, which launched its `germ free homes' campaign in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday, has targeted Rs. 400 crore sales (all India) this quarter in the `germ free' category, according to Pradeepkumar N. Dhoot, President. Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, he said cost cutting was not an issue now, as compared to technology innovation. The company had introduced 17 new product offerings across all product categories. It had come out with refrigerators with anti-bacterial lining, washing machines with anti-bacterial tub, air-conditioners with pollution control devices, and strain free viewing in TVs, besides 360 degree cooking in Micvrowaves, which it claimed were germ free.
