City Union Bank joins RTGS

CHENNAI: City Union Bank has joined the RTGS grid and it is now able to settle inter-bank transactions online. "We are in the process of implementing TCS' Quartz and networking of branches. Once implemented, this will help us handle customer transactions under `Straight Through Processing' with lesser cost and improved efficiency in 74 of our 130 branches," according to S. Sridharan, General Manager, City Union Bank.
