BHEL bags Rs. 218 crore turnkey order
NEW DELHI: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has secured an order for setting up a 40 MW co-generation captive power plant on turnkey basis. Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL), a Fortune 500 company, has reposed confidence in BHEL and placed the order worth Rs. 218 crores for setting up a captive co-generation power plant, as part of its clean fuels project at Vishakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. To be commissioned in a tight schedule of 21 months, the eco-friendly power plant will meet the process steam and power requirement of MS Quality Improvement Project of Vishakapatnam refinery.
