Bajaj Hindustan on expansion drive
THANA BHAWAN (U.P.): At a time of overall sugarcane shortage, one of the leading millers, Bajaj Hindustan, has embarked on a massive Rs. 375 crore expansion plan and is setting up three new mills in Uttar Pradesh. The three mills, expected to start operations by December next year, will double the company's overall capacity of 3.96 lakh tonnes, according to senior company official. ``One of the mills is being set up here and another in Bijnore, while the third is expected in Budhana (Muzaffarnagar), taking the total number of mills of the company to six,'' R. K. Panpalia, Consultant Corporate Affairs said.
