HYDERABAD, JULY 19. G. Rohini a Judge of the A.P. High Court on Monday ordered notices to the State Government in a writ petition filed challenging the appointment of Dharma Reddy as Joint Executive Officer (JEO) of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD). This writ petition seeking a writ of quo warranto was filed by Naveen Babu, a devotee of Lord Venkateswara. The petitioner brought to the notice of the court that the act mandates that such persons who hold the post of Joint Collector in the State Government alone shall be appointed as JEO. It was brought to the notice of the court that Dharma Reddy does not belong to IAS Cadre and so cannot hold the post.
