City Police in last eight

NAZARETH, JULY 19. City Police, Chennai entered the quarterfinals of the fifth annual canon Margoschis memorial Trophy all India football tournament defeating host, Martoschis Recreation Club by the odd goal in three at Margoschis Higher Secondary School ground here on Monday.

Noffarull Khan scored both goals for Police in the 20th and 77th minute. Joel scored for Margoschis Club in the 50th minute. Margoschis Club could have equalised in the 78th minute but Ewazar's powerful shot hit one of the uprights and rebounded.
