HYDERABAD, JULY 19. The Cuddapah MP, Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, brother of the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, has denied any rift in their family over his proposed move to retire from politics. Interacting with newspersons here on Monday, Mr. Vivekananda Reddy said some vested interests were trying to drive a wedge between the brothers by planting false stories in newspapers. Confirming his intentions to call it a day, he said his nephew, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, was an `ideal choice.' He said members of his family were pleading against his decision. Mr. Reddy said he would meet the AICC president, Sonia Gandhi, and seek her permission to quit politics.
