Dullet starts favourite
NEW DELHI,
JULY 19.
Jaskirat Singh Dullet starts favourite at the Northern India Open amateur golf tournament, which tees off at the Army Golf Course here on Tuesday. Dullet, who won the season-opener Jaypee Open last week in Greater Noida, will have India No.1 Manav Das, Simarjeet Singh and Vikrant Chopra giving him challenge.
The Northern India Open, the second event on the Indian Golf Union (IGU) circuit, is the first leg of the Royal Challenge Indian Golf Tour. Amateur golf in India received a shot in the arm when it attracted sponsorship for the first time since its inception over a century ago.
