Double delight for Yuki Bhambri
FARIDABAD,
JULY 19.
Yuki Bhambri won a double crown in the third tournament of the Peninsula Cup junior tennis circuit at the Gymkhana Club courts on Sunday.
The 11-year-old Yuki, who has already represented the country in the ITF Asia-Oceania under-14 competition, won the under-14 and under-12 titles.
The results (finals):
Boys: Under-14: Yuki Bhambri bt Bharat Bhardwaj 7-5,6-0; Under-12: Yuki Bhambri bt Rohit Bisht 6-3, 7-6 (7-2); Under-10: Ronit Bisht bt Harshit Juneja 8-0.
Girls: Under-14: Rhea Shroff bt Disha Sehgal 8-6; Under-12: Rhea Shroff bt Carol Augustin 9-4; Under-10: Carol Augustin bt Himangi Arya 8-1.
