Mohammed Ali triumphs

HYDERABAD, JULY 19. Mohammed Ali and Cynthia Rodrigues clinched the men's and women's singles titles respectively in the Ranga Reddy district badminton championships, which concluded at the indoor stadium, Saroornagar here on Sunday.

The results (all finals): Men: Singles: Mohammed Ali bt B. Naveen Kumar 15-13, 15-4; doubles: Charanjit/Arjun Reddy bt Md. Ali/Naveen Kumar.

Boys: Mini singles: Sai Praneet bt K. Ajay Kumar 15-12, 7-15, 15-5; doubles: B. Sai Praneet/K. Ajay Kumar bt O. Prahas/Nitish Chandra Reddy 15-0, 15-1; sub-junior singles: Guru Sai Dutt bt K. Tarun Reddy 7-15, 15-6, 15-5; doubles: Sai Dutt/K. Tarun bt Sai Praneet/K. Ajay Kumar 15-3, 15-5; junior singles: Kiran Tej bt Guru Sai Dutt 15-12, 15-10; doubles: Sai Dutt/K. Tarun bt P.
