Sreekiran, Sahana hog limelight

MYSORE, JULY 19. C. Sreekiran and S. Sahana hogged the limelight by winning double titles in the Mysore district ranking table tennis tournament, conducted jointly by MDTTA and PTTA, at the Kuvempu Vidyardhaka Trust premises on Sunday.

The results (all singles finals): Men: C. Sreekiran bt M.R. Prajwal 1-11, 11-6, 13-11, 1-11, 11-2, 11-9; women: S. Bhavana bt S. Sahana 11-8, 11-5, 11-7, 11-4; junior boys singles: M.R. Prajwal bt C. Sreekiran 3-12, 12-10, 11-5; sub-junior boys: C. Sreekiran bt K.C. Bimbesh 7-11, 11-6, 11-8, 11-8; junior girls: S. Sahana bt S. Bhavana 15-13, 10-12, 11-8, 5-11, 12-10; sub-junior girls: S. Sahana bt Sanjana Dinak 3-4, 11-3, 10-12, 11-5; mini cadets: Deepak Dev bt Akshay Mohanta 6-11, 12-10, 11-5, 5-11, 11-6.
