Man held for threatening suicide

ADILABAD, JULY 19. The Adilabad rural police on Monday took into custody Krishna (35), a scavenger residing at Indiranagar, for threatening to commit suicide.

Police said Krishna climbed on top of an overhead water tank near the market committee yard and threatened to jump.

He was, however, persuaded by the police to climb down. Krishna said he was disturbed as had problems with his wife.
