By Our Special Correspondent
TIRUPATI, JULY 20. The Republican Party of India today expressed shock over six Dalits' bid to end their lives inside the Collectorate in Prakasam district and called upon the State Government to order a probe into the incident by a sitting High Court judge. Taking serious note of the death of one of the dalits, Naththala Hanumantha Rao, the RPI's State General Secretary, P. Anjaiah also demanded filing of cases under section 302 IPC (murder) against revenue officials whose alleged indifference had driven the dalits to the suicide bid.
