TIRUPATI, JULY 20. Activists of the Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday stalled the interviews being conducted for the Chief Minister's Empowerment of Youth (CMEY) on the Youth Hostel premises here alleging irregularities in the selection of beneficiaries. The activists, led by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha State general secretary, G. Bhanuprakash Reddy, ransacked the hostel premises to somehow stop the interviews as the selection process was `improper.' Even the tables and chairs arranged at the venue were removed and thrown away. Normality returned with the arrival of the M.R. Palle police. The leaders left the venue after submitting a memorandum to the authorities concerned.
