Innings win for Visakhapatnam

VISAKHAPATNAM, JULY 21. Visakhapatnam scored an innings and 14-run win over Srikakulam in the ACA north zone under-22 inter-district

cricket tournament at Kakinada on Wednesday.

The scores: Srikakulam 109 & 86 in 43.1 overs (Gangadhar 29 not out, B. Sudha Kiran four for 20, Laxman Kishore three for 19) lost to Visakhapatnam 209 in 63.5 overs (B. Sumanth 57, J.T. Yadav 56, Ramana Murthy six for 38).

Vizianagaram 144 & 114 for eight in 57 overs (Naveen Kumar Singh 55 not out, K. Ravi Shankar three for 14) drew with East Godavari 276 in 73 overs (M. Krishna Murthy 107, J. Sivaramakrishna 50, K. Ravi Shankar 28, T. Rambabu five for 69).
