PAN service provider

MADURAI, JULY 21. To enhance permanent account number (PAN) services, the Income Tax Department has appointed National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) in addition to United Trust of India Investors Services Ltd. (UTIISL) as service provider.

The request for new PAN cards or/ and changes or correction in PAN data can be downloaded from the website: www.incometaxindia.gov.in or http//tin.nsdl.com or www.utiisl.co.in. Photocopies of the forms will also be accepted at both the IT PAN services centres. The forms will be available with the local stationery shops or from any other source. The addresses of both the IT PAN service centres and TIN FCs are available on the web sites, according to a release. The following is the list of TIN FCs for the Madurai region:

Integrated Enterprises (I) Ltd, Karvy Consultants Ltd and Shell Transource Ltd., are the facilitators for Madurai.
