THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JULY 21. The police team probing the attack on two Congress leaders at the KPCC executive meeting venue in the city on June 2 are considering a polygraph (lie-detector) test for some of the main accused in the case. An official said the police have sought the consent of Ulloor Sivaprakash and Vinod Krishna who were recently arrested in connection with a case of attempted murder registered on the basis of the complaints filed by T. Saratchandra Prasad and Rajmohan Unnithan. A notice has been served to Vinod Krishna who is currently under judicial remand seeking his consent for undergoing the lie detector test. The police said Ulloor Sivaprakash, who surrendered on Tuesday, has consented to undergo the test at the Forensic Sciences Laboratory of the Karnataka police in Bangalore.
