THRISSUR, JULY 22 . The Bharatiya Janata Party State president, P. S. Sreedharan Pillai, has said that the Narendran Commission report is incomplete and should not be implemented as such. Mr. Pillai told reporters here today the BJP did not support reservation on the basis of religion. The implementation of the Narendran Commission report would upset communal equations, he added. The BJP would launch a campaign from July 26 to August 9 against "appeasement of minorities''. "Of the total number of aided schools in the State, only 4 per cent has been sanctioned so far to Hindu managements. Of the colleges in the State, 60 per cent has been sanctioned to minorities. Hindu managements got only 20 per cent. The allotment shows the hidden agendas of both the United Democratic Front and the Left Democratic Front,'' Mr. Pillai alleged. The stand of the Indian Union Muslim League, which has the support of the NDF, INL, Sunni organisations and the Jamaat Islami, towards reservation showed its hidden motives, the BJP president said. The UDF and the LDF milked the NSS and SNDP every now and then and dumped the organisations thereafter, he added.
