BIEL (SWITZERLAND), JULY 22. Krishnan Sasikiran held top seed Alexander Morozevich of Russia to a draw in the third round of the Grandmaster's section at the Biel International Chess Festival here on Thursday. The draw helped Morozevich maintain his half point lead with 2.5 points from three games. Second seed Ruslan Ponomariov of Ukraine remained on the second spot with two points. Sasikiran, Eienne Bacrot of France and local star Yannick Pelletier shared the third spot with 1.5 points.
India's P. Magesh Chandran and P. Konguvel tasted defeats in the Master's section.
