TIRUCHI, JULY 22. Farmers affiliated to the `Cauvery Velaan Kazhagam' staged a demonstration at Tiruverumbur here on Wednesday demanding implementation of the interim award of the Cauvery tribunal by Karnataka.

They deplored politicisation of the Cauvery issue. K. Murugesan, organiser, led the agitation.
