Synthetic bone graft material

KOCHI: A synthetic ceramic bone graft material was launched by Dynamic Techno Medicals Private Limited. Indigenously developed by the Sree Chitra Tirunal Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Thiruvananthapuram, the product is used for bone implantation and surgical correction in orthopaedic clinical practice. The product, marketed under the name Orthogran, offers distinct advantages over the foreign counterpart, says the company.
