NEW DELHI, JULY 22. The Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, today released a collection of cartoons on the former Kerala Chief Minister, E.K. Nayanar, presenting a copy to the general secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), Harkishan Singh Surjeet, here. Releasing `Varayile Nayanar' (Nayanar in Lines), a compilation of cartoons on the late Communist veteran penned by Yesudasan and published in Malayala Manorama, Singh said ``what struck me with Nayanar was the credibility he carried with the people of Kerala." Nayanar, who was a legend, believed in equality and he treated everyone equally and led a simple life, he said. - PTI
