SJBHS, FAPS in final
BANGALORE,
JULY 22.
Md. Amith's unbeaten 62 steered St. Joseph's Boys High School (SJBHS) to an eight-wicket victory over Presidency School in the semifinal of the Cottonian shield under-14 cricket tournament here on Thursday. In the other semifinal, Frank Antony Public School (FAPS) defeated Bishop Cottons by six wickets. The final will be played on July 26.
The scores (semifinals): Presidency School 102 in 23.4 overs (Prithvi 52) lost to SJBHS 104 for two in 17.1 overs (Md. Amith 62 n.o.).
Bishop Cottons 89 in 27 overs (Bharath four for nine, Karun Nair three for 17) lost to FAPS 90 for four in 26 overs.
