All-round show by Ayub Hussaini

HYDERABAD, JULY 22. Ayub Hussaini's all-round performance (94 and seven for 61) and century by Sanjay Kumar Yadav (129 not out) helped Central Excise record a convincing, 184-run win against Gemini Friends in the A-Division (two-day) league cricket championship match for R.Jayawanth Rao Trophy here today.

Ayub Hussaini, who joined Sanjay Kumar with the team in dire straits at 60 for five, put on 131 runs for the eighth wicket and another 90 with Vinay Kumar (41) to help Central Excise score 376 for eight. In reply, Gemini folded up for 192 with Ayub Hussaini's off-spin fetching him seven for 61.

The scores: A-Division (two-day): Central Excise 376 for eight (Ayub Hussaini 94, Sanjay Kumar Yadav 129 not out, Vinay Kumar 41, Ibrahim 31 not out, Rushab Mehta five for 109) bt Gemini Friends 192 (Varun 31, Sanketh Shah 51, Vamsi 30, Ayub Hussaini seven for 61).
