Tollygunge records first win

KOLKATA, JULY 22. Tollygunge Agragami registered its first win in the Calcutta Football League here on Thursday by beating Food Corporation of India (FCI) 4-2. The win took Tollygunge's tally to five points from four games.

In a keen contest, Tollygunge went ahead by a Kobhijit Kotel's eighth minute strike. The joy was short lived as FCI restored parity in the next minute through Amit Dey. Two more goals in the first half through Akeem (22nd) and Dineshwar (28th) enabled Tollygunge to go 3-1 up at halftime.

Thirty minutes inside the second half, Ramu Adhikari scored Tollygunge's fourth goal. FCI reduced for the second time through Mithun Dey to bring the score to 4-2.
