SBI wins

NEW DELHI, JULY 22. Rajesh Joshi (2) and Tarun Roy powered State Bank of India to a 3-1 victory over Victory Club in an `A' division SAIL DSA league football match at the Nehru Stadium ground here on Thursday. Nitin Kumar reduced the margin for Victory Club. It was the first win in four matches for the bank team, and Victory has only one draw from four matches.

Glorious Club beat Delhi Veterans 2-1 in a group `III' encounter. Vishan Rattan and Harminder Singh found the target for Glorious. Sooran scored for the Veterans team.

Paschim Heroes beat Garhwal Diamond 1-0 thanks to a goal by Shyam Sundar in the 27th minute, at the Ambedkar Stadium.

In group `A', Ahbab Club drew 1-1 with Uttarakhand Club. H.S. Chauhan put Uttarakhand ahead in the seventh minute while Surinder Singh Bisht equalised for Ahbab in the 18th minute.
