KARIMNAGAR, JULY 22. An Intermediate second year student of a private junior college in Jyothinagar of Karimnagar town reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his hostel room on Thursday. According to the Two Town SI, R. Prakash, the second year BiPC student, B. Ashish Kumar, of Hasnapur in Utnoor mandal of Adilabad district, joined the college a month ago. He was also suffering from severe migraine and taking treatment from a neurophysician. Ashish complained of severe headache while attending classes in the morning and took permission from his lecturer and returned to his hostel room. When all other students were attending classes, he hanged himself using a blanket in his hostel room. Ashish had secured 542 marks in the SSC examination. He had joined a private junior college in Hyderabad and secured only 232 marks in the first first year examination. He had also written the improvement examination. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
