VIZIANAGARAM, JULY 22. Four local youths -- M. Navin Kumar, M. Sivaprasada Rao, M. Satish Santosh Konda and K. Vidya Sagar -- drowned in a pit of river Champavathi, near Saripalli village in Nellimarla mandal, where they went for swimming on Wednesday afternoon. When they did not return in the evening, their parents searched for them on Thursday morning and found the body of Navin Kumar floating in the pit. On their complaint, the Nellimarla police with the help of expert divers fished out the other three bodies by evening and sent them for post-mortem to the headquarter hospital here. While Navin Kumar is an insurance agent, the other three are final year degree students of AGL Degree College and SSSS Degree College in the town. The Rural Inspector, T.D. Trinadha Rao, and Sub Inspector, V. Venkata Appa Rao, are investigating.
