VIJAYAWADA, JULY 22. A contract worker was electrocuted and another suffered severe shock while they were repairing power lines near the civil courts in Suryaraopet police station limits here on Thursday morning. Stalin, 40, died on the spot and Joji Babu, 35, was admitted to a private nursing home. Though power was shut down in the section, a generator was switched on without the circuit breaker being operated. The power from the generator came to the main line and two workers who were engaged in repair work got electric shock, police said.
