Raigarh DM removed

RAIPUR, JULY 22 . In a major shake up after taking charge, the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today replaced the Raigarh District Collector and reshuffled 21 senior bureaucrats.

Subodh Singh, a choice of previous Chief Minister Ajit Jogi as Raigarh District Collector, was made Managing Director of the Marketing Federation and Civil Supply Corporation, official sources said.

The Jashpur Collector R S Vishwakarma, who has been made new Collector Raigarh, has been replaced by Koriya Collector Durgesh Chandra Mishra.

The Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Panchayat Kawardha, Amir Ali is the new collector of Koriya, the post vacated by Mishra.

Joint Secretary Home, Maninder Kaur Dwivedi has been made the Deputy Commissioner Commercial Taxes and Director Treasury, the sources said.

Dr Alok Shukla, health secretary, has been shifted to become Secretary School Education, the post earlier held by Additional Chief Secretary Indira Mishra while Shukla has been replaced by Babulal Agrawal.

The agriculture department held by Chittaranjan Kumar Khetan and post of Director Agriculture, Animal Husbandry by Ajaybara Prasad Adithala, were given to H.L. Prajapati, and his higher education department is given to Adithala.

The MARKFED and Civil Supply Corporation Managing Director T.S. Chhatwal has been made Secretary Forest, and Commissioner Higher Education Satyajit Thakur has been made Commissioner Tribal Welfare.

Special Secretary General Administration department and Tourism Ajay Pal Singh has been given the additional charge of Director Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, the post held by J Jayatilak.

Jayatilak has been made the Commissioner Excise whereas his wife Isita Ray was given the additional charge as Special Secretary Village Industry (independent charge) besides Joint Secretary General Administration department.

Commissioner Tribal Welfare M S Dhruv was made the Special Secretary Home while Special Secretary to the Chief Minister K Subramanyam has been given the Special Secretary Home as additional charge, the sources said.
