PARKAL (WARANGAL DT.), JULY 22. As part of efforts to reach out to distressed unemployed youth, the police in Parkal have set up a Career Guidance cell and library. Young people can obtain information at the cell on job opportunities in the BSRB, Defence, APPSC, and others. Applications will be distributed free of cost. The library offers a variety of reference books and study material for competitive examinations. Inaugurating the facilities, the Parkal DSP, P. H. D. Ramakrishna, said the youth wanted only teacher and police posts, and were ignoring opportunities in other departments and sectors. He said that as information about such job opportunities remained inaccessible to young people in rural areas, the police had come up with the idea. The programme was presided over by the Parkal Chief Inspector, Narasaiah.
