Non-interlocking work to be taken up at Pattabiram

CHENNAI, JULY 22. To facilitate commissioning of the fourth line between Pattabiram and Tiruvallur, it is proposed to take up the work on non-interlocking at Pattabiram west yard from July 24 to August 3. During the above period the following changes will be made:

All up suburban trains will not stop at Pattabiram from July 24 to August 3 and will be diverted on up slow line from Hindu College.

All down suburban trains will be diverted from Hindu College on fast line and will not stop at Pattabiram from 8 a.m. of July 26 to 8 a.m. of July 28.

Passenger specials

During the cancellation of services, passenger specials will be operated in the Chennai Central -Arakkonam section. During the above period, suburban trains may be delayed at the originating stations and en route.

The services fully cancelled are: MT 43 Moore Market Complex to Tiruvallur from July 23 to 27; ADT 1 Avadi to Tiruvallur (July 24 to 28); MA 1 MMC to Arakkonam (July 24 to 28); MTI 1 MMC to Tiruninravur (July 24 to Aug.3); MT 23 MMC to Tiruvallur (July 25); MT 1 MMC to Tiruvallur (July 28) ; TM 2 Tiruvallur to MMC (July 24 to 28); AM 6 Arakkonam to MMC (July 24 to 28) ; TIM 2 Tiruninravur to MMC (July 24 to Aug 3) ; TM 20 Tiruvallur to MMC (July 25) ; TB 4 Tiruvallur to Beach (July 25); TP 2 Tiruvallur to Ponneri (July 28).

Trains partially cancelled: BA 1 Beach to Arakkonam is cancelled between Avadi and Arakkonam (July 24 to 28); AM 2 Arakkonam to MMC between Arakkonam and Pattabiram (July 24 to 28); TB 2 Tiruvallur to Beach between Tiruvallur and Avadi (July 24 to 28); MA 5 MMC to Arakkonam between Pattabiram and Arakkonam (July 25) ; AM 8 Arakkonam to MMC between Tiruninravur and MMC (July 25); and BT 5 Beach to Tiruvallur between Avadi and Tiruvallur (July 25).

Train no 183 Chennai Central Tiruttani fast local will be advanced by 10 minutes and will depart from MMC at 7 p.m. from July 24 to August 3.
