Low pressure over Bay

VISAKHAPATNAM. JULY 23. Thursday's low pressure area over north Bay of Bengal lies off north Andhra and Orissa coast, the Cyclone Warning Centre said here on Friday. Under its influence, rain or thundershower is likely at many places over north coastal Andhra and at a few places over south coastal Andhra in next 36 hours.

8 cm rainfall in Yellandu

The Director of the Met Office in Hyderabad, C.V.V. Bhadram, said the low pressure did not provide any indications to intensify. Meanwhile, Yellandu and Sriramsagar project area reported rainfall of 8 cm and 7 cm respectively.
