NAGAPATTINAM, JULY 23. Thousands of devotees from various parts of the country and abroad are coming to the Saint Hazrath Syed Shahul Hameed Quadir Wali durgah at Nagore near here, a pilgrimage centre for both Muslims and Hindus, in connection with the fortnight long `Khanduri' festival, which began with holy flag hoisting on Monday night. The highlight of the festival is the participation of thousands of Hindus, along with Muslims, who take a holy dip in the `Peer Kulam'. It is believed that taking bath in the pond will cure all diseases. The durgah stands as a symbol of communal harmony
