BANGALORE, JULY 23. The telephone numbers of Chitradurga Telecom District will be changed from the midnight of August 7. The first digit of the changed telephone numbers will be replaced by the digit `2' as per the directives of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). There is no change in the telephone numbers of Davangere and Harihar taluks, according to a release on Friday. Telephone numbers among the taluks, which come under the purview of Chitradurga Telephone District, could be accessed by dialling 95 or 0 followed by the respective STD code, the release said.
