Protected monument

NEW DELHI, JULY 23. The Delhi High Court today upheld the Archaeological Survey of India's plea that the Jantar Mantar was a protected monument. But it asked the Centre to review within six months its 1992 notification prohibiting any construction within 100 metres of a protected monument to make the requirement flexible. PTI
