A chance to miss it like Beckham

MADRID, JULY 23. English fans upset over their national team's penalty kick loss to Portugal in the European Championship quarterfinals may get a chance to vent their frustration on the very ball that was the focus of their angst.

Canadian-based Internet casino Golden Palace.com has purchased the ball David Beckham kicked high into the crowd in the 6-5 penalty shootout loss, and plans to rent a stadium in England to give fans an opportunity to attempt their own penalty at £10 a boot, all for charity.

"We're just waiting to go and collect the ball in Spain. We're going to find a football stadium in the UK to let people kick the ball, maybe even against the Portuguese goalie, for charity," Golden Palace spokesman Drew Black said.
