SN College wins via tiebreaker

KOLLAM, JULY 23 . SN College, Varkala, defeated Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, 4-2 via tiebreaker in a first round match of the 38th George Joseph memorial all-Kerala inter-collegiate football tournament at the TKM College of engineering ground here on Friday.

The teams drew 1-1 at the end of regular time. Ashwin put SCT engineering college in the lead in the 20th minute while Unnimon found the equaliser for SN College in the 48th minute. College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram got a walkover from CUSAT that failed to turn up for the match.
