Tuticorin hits back

TUTICORIN, JULY 23. Nagapattinam was 56 for three in 33.3 overs at close of play in reply to Tuticorin's first innings total of 195 in 58.2 overs on the opening day of the two-day quarterfinal match in the Hercules MTB Turbo Drive inter-district under-19 cricket tournament at SPIC Nagar ground here on Friday.

The scores: Tuticorin 195 in 58.2 overs (Jegan 52, Muthukumar 42, Rajkumar four for 59) Vs Nagapattinam 56 for three in 33.3 overs.

At Tiruchi: Tiruchi 256 in 87.5 overs (R. Darshan 59, P. Logesh 125, S. P. Saravanakumar four for 59, D. Rajesh four for 41) vs Theni district.
