Shijith, Sriram score centuries

CHENNAI, JULY 23. Tiruvallur made 365 for nine, replying to Thanjavur's 198, and entered the semifinals of the Hercules MTB Turbo Drive inter-district under-19 tournament here on Friday.

For Tiruvallur, P. Shijith Chandran (100, 173b, 9x4) and B. Sriram (131, 162b, 14x4, 3x6) made centuries.

The scores:

Thanjavur DCA 198 for seven in 123.3 overs (Prabhu 67, S. Prakash 27, S. Ashwin three for 25, K. Sriram three for 53) drew with Tiruvallur DCA 365 for nine in 87 overs (P. Shijith Chandran 100, B. Sriram 131, N. Sridhar 34, Ruben three for 56, Sakthi three for 91).
