GRD College lifts title

COIMBATORE, JULY 23. GRD College of Science claimed the Bishop Appasamy memorial trophy inter-collegiate basketball tournament defeating PSG College of Arts and Science 69-57 at the Bishop Appasamy College courts here on Friday. Shankar (13), Aravind (15) and Solomon (15) were the prominent scorers for GRD, while Shekar (14) and Vinoth Kumar (10) performed well for PSG.

PSG College of Technology grabbed the third spot beating Maruthi College of Physical Education 58-38.

Earlier in the semifinals, PSG Arts beat Maruthi College 65-29, while GRD hammered PSG Tech 66-36.
