ADILABAD, JULY 23. The Adilabad Zilla Parishad has sanctioned 893 works to be undertaken at a cost of nearly Rs. 13 crores during the current year for laying of roads in rural areas. The funds have been sanctioned under the Sampoorna Grameema Rozgar Yojana (SGRY) Phase-I. The Zilla Parishad Chairman, Lolam Shamsunder, told reporters here on Friday that during the preceding three years 4,670 works had been taken up at a cost of Rs. 61 crores under the SGRY. He was addressing the press in connection with completion of three years in office, which coincided with his 29th birthday too.
