Deepak hits double century

VISAKHAPATNAM, JULY 23. M.S. Deepak scored an unbeaten 202 as the match between Srikakulam and East Godavari ended in a draw in the A.C.A. North Zone inter-district under-22 tournament at Kakinada on Friday.

The scores: Srikakulam 264 for eight in 84 overs (M.S. Deepak 202 n.o., K. Ravi Shankar three for 54, L. Satish three for 62) drew with East Godavari 214 for six in 53 overs (K.T. Pavan Kumar 63, P.S. Ganga Raju 55, M. Krishna Murthy 48, Ch. Dilip Kumar 28, M. Ramana Murthy three for 73).

Visakhapatnam 167 in 61.4 overs (G. Shankara Rao 35, J.T. Yadav 33, B. Sumanth 30, Md. Taj Babu five for 60) and 100 for two in 18 overs (G. Shankara Rao 69) vs Vizianagaram 88 in 44 overs (Md. Taj Babu 55, P.A.V.N. Raju four for 36, G. Shankara Rao three for one).
