CHENNAI, JULY 23. P.D. Varadarajan, a Grade-I Accounts officer in the Food Corporation of India, who was knocked down from his two-wheeler at Thousand Lights junction four days ago, died here today. A resident of T.P. Koil Street, Triplicane, Mr. Varadarajan, was on his way to office on Greames Road, when he was knocked down from behind by a car while waiting at a signal on Anna Salai-Peters Road junction on Monday morning. He was admitted to Apollo Hospital with a head injury.
