New RTC service

By Our Staff Reporter

VISAKHAPATNAM, JULY 23. The APSRTC is introducing a new city bus service between Zinc Gate and Ramakrishna Beach from Saturday, connecting Gajuwaka with Gnanapuram and restoring city bus facility between the Railway Station and Collectorate/KGH junction after several years.

The route of the new service, No. 368, is via new Gajuwaka, old Gajuwaka, NAD, Marripalem, Gnanapuram, Convent junction, Railway Station, Sangam-Sarat junction, Dabagardens, Jagadamba junction and Collectorate/KGH junction, according to the Depot Manager of the Visakha Steel City Depot, K. Phanisankar, on Friday.

The service will be operated between 5.20 a.m. and 7.55 p.m. from the Zinc Gate and between 6.30 a.m. and 9 p.m. from the R.K. Beach, with 35 minutes interval.

The passengers travelling on this route will save some time, as the buses will ply on the road behind the LIC office to reach Dabagardens from the Sangam-Sarat junction, instead of the RTC Complex junction.
