Mayor unhappy over `mid-day meal' implementation

VIJAYAWADA, JULY 23. The Vijayawada Mayor, Panchumarty Anuradha was unhappy at the way mid-day meal scheme was being implemented at municipal schools in Krishna Lanka and Kothapeta. She said the quality of food supplied to children in both the schools was poor. She said the DWCRA group running the Kothapeta kitchen cooked food outside the school and added that the kitchen in Krishna Lanka school lacked hygiene.
