Cloudy sky forecast

Cloudy sky with a chance of rain or showers has been forecast in the city for Saturday. The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded on Friday were 31.5 degree Celsius and 21 degree Celsius respectively while the relative humidity was 55 per cent. A rainfall of 1.0 mm was reported up to 8.30 p.m.

Water board's single window

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board is opening a branch of its `single window cell' at Goshamahal for the benefit of people in old city, who otherwise have to come all the way to Khairatabad for obtaining water supply and sewerage connections. The cell will be inaugurated on July 26, according to a press release.

Computerised rent bills

The `office automation' for preparation and issue of computerised rent bills for occupants of the Government accommodation by officers and staff of DRDL, DMRL, DLRL and the MES located in Kanchanbagh was inaugurated by the Controller of Defence Accounts, K. Niranjan Rao, here on Tuesday.

The computerisation will help regular, prompt and proper issue of rent bills and also do away with the manual preparation of 3,500 rent bills, according to a press release.

Lok Adalat

The next sitting of the Lok Adalat for the AP Transco will be held on July 24 at 11 a.m. at Mint Compound, according to a press release.

Bus passes

The Director, eSeva, has said that RTC centres and eSeva counters for issuing bus passes will function on Sunday, July 25.

Talk on yoga

A free introductory talk on `sahaja samadhi yoga' for patients of diabetes will be conducted by the Sanatana Samskruthi Vidyakendra from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mother's High School, opposite eSeva centre at Ramnagar here, on July 25.
