Holiday for schools

KOCHINEDUMBASSERY, JULY 24.JULY 24 Chinmaya Vidyapeeth, Ernakulam, and Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vaduthala, will remain closed on Monday, according to the school authorities. All the schools of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Kochi will remain closed on Monday and Tuesday, school authorities said.

Three held

KOCHINEDUMBASSERY, JULY 24.JULY 24 . Three people were today arrested by the police on charges of having forged a document to secure a job in Cochin International Airport Limited. Martin (28), a resident of Parakkadavu in Nedumbassery, was arrested by the Chengamanad police for using a forged driving license to get through the driving test, which was held recently to select junior fire officers. Thulasidas (62) and his relative Renin Ramesh (22) were picked up from Kollam for assisting in the forgery. The three were remanded into police custody.
