`Last Supper' discussed

By Our Staff Reporter

THRISSUR, JULY 25. Modern society, which believes that money can buy anything, should imbibe the message of great works of art such as Leonardo da Vinci's `Last Supper'.

Inaugurating a discussion on `Last Supper', organised by the Jubilee Mission Medical College Cultural Club here on Sunday, Mr. Azhikode said that da Vinci's works reflected his scientific and artistic interests.

``Each face in `Last Supper' represents a certain emotion,'' Mr. Azhikode added.

M. V. Devan, veteran artist, presided over the function. Vijayakumara Menon, art critic, and Francis Kodankandathu, artist, also spoke.
