By Our Staff Reporter
GUNTUR, JULY 25. The first Garuda service of the APSRTC from Guntur to Bangalore was introduced on Saturday night with the Minster for Cooperation, Kanna Lakshminarayana, formally flagging off the daily service. The service would improve the comfort levels of passengers, the Minister said. The bus with an air suspension does not let passengers feel the jerks even on bumpy roads, the Regional Manager, Jayashankar, said. The Rs. 75-lakh bus would take 12 hours to cover the 600 km distance between the two cities. The Guntur-I MLA, Nambur Subhani, was also present on the occasion.
